General Information

In December 2024, St. Mary Magdalene added pickleball lines for two courts inside the gym. In 2025, the Athletics Ministry will offer
reservations and tournament play. For hours of operation, reservation policy, court guidelines and more, please read below.

Reservation Policy
  1. Group court reservations are only available via [email protected]. A successful reservation will receive a confirmation email back in return. If you do not receive a confirmation email, the booking has not been completed.
  2. No standing reservations will be accepted.
  3. For available court times, email [email protected].
  4. Reservations may only be made by St. Mary Magdalene parishioners.
  5. There is no “open gym time” at St. Mary Magdalene. Do not attempt to play without a reservation.
  6. Only players listed on the registration, which includes an accompanying waiver, may play.
  7. Players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian, or a Virtus-certified adult.
  8. Players who fail to cancel their reservations 24 hours prior to their scheduled court time may result in the loss of reservation privileges.
  9. The first reservation of the day is responsible for setting up equipment, which may include teardown of a previous event. NOTE WELL: If you arrive and were not instructed of teardown instructions, STOP. Call the Facilities Director or the Athletic Director.
  10.  The last reservation of the day (the last booked appointment) is responsible for shutdown. This includes putting the nets away, sweeping the courts, etc. This may also include prepping the gym for use by another ministry.
Court Guidelines
  1. No food and beverage on the courts.
  2. Do not bring chairs or heavy objects onto the courts.

  6. Racquet throwing or profanity will not be permitted.
  7. Good sportsmanship is the rule.
  8. Users may not use the walls of the gym as a back stop.
  9. Failure to follow the rules or damage to St. Mary Magdalene property or equipment could result in loss of court and/or membership privileges.
