DOCYBT 2024
On Feb. 23-25, 2024, St. Mary Magdalene had a record 7 teams take part in the 2024 Diocese of Charleston Youth Basketball Tournament in Greenville, S.C. Congratulations to our Senior Girls team coached by Kris Rettberg on becoming the Silver Division Champions! The girls becomes the fifth team in St. Mary Magdalene's history to place at the DOCYBT.

Basketball 2013-14
Thank you everyone for a terrific 2013-14 basketball season!
This year we had 20 teams, which represents 12% of the 167 teams in the Greenville District United Methodist Recreation Association. Of the 17 basketball program, St. Mary Magdalene had the second largest program in the league.
Our Junior Girls 1 team finished in 1st place in their division, and our Midget Girls and Midget Boys 2 team finished second in their respective divisions.

Basketball 2012-13
The 2012-13 basketball season for St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church concluded at the Awards Banquet held March 2, 2013. This year the basketball program dressed 19 teams, which was two more teams than the previous season. There were 184 players ranging from ages 5 to 48.
Two teams, Junior Boys 1 (Roche) and Junior Boys 4 (Woods) placed second in their divisions.
Special thanks to all our coaches this season and again to Shannon Forest Christian School and Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church for allowing us to use their gymnasiums for practice.

2011-12 Season
In 2011-12, St. Mary Magdalene supported 15 youth and two adult basketball teams, representing more than 170 players. Without a home gym, the church relied on the generosity of Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church and Shannon Forest Christian School for team practices. On behalf of the players, parents, coaches and families at St. Mary Magdalene, we say "thank you" to our dear friends at Shannon Forest.
